Anyone check out the strictly tool boxes website lately? They are now selling and exclusive box branded gatorbuilt (produced by extreme) that is 55x25 deep with 150 and 300 pound drawer slides for 2350 for the combo. Seems like a reasonable price for a heavy duty box with decent depth.

I think that one's gonna take business from some of the other guys. I wanted to buy from stb but all the double banks they had in my budget were only 20" deep & that was a deal breaker.

It also has 3 full width drawers FYI

this plus 25" deep= winner. Obviously 30" deep would be even better but for a cheap import box, I like it. Plus it has griplatch style pulls, looks great to me. Should pack a lot of tools into the footprint, especially with the top.

This looks to be a great box for the money. Bottom only is $1385.

I just looked at there boxes thinkin i might bite on the double bay and top with 2 side lockers in a lime green. Like the looks of it and can sell all my other smaller boxes. Seems to be the right price $2430.00 and $30.00 lift gate charge.

Doesn't look like they offer a steel top to this. Anyone actually seen one in person?

Digging this one up...

I am interested to learn more about these Gatorbuilt Tool Boxes. Have any of you seen one in person?

I have not, but they look like an Extreme Toolbox’s box. I looked at these carefully about 6 months ago.

I went with a private label Extreme Toolbox from Rollcabs.com. 72”x25”, 19 drawers vs 16

Unfortunately no. I was considering one recently (among others) due to size, layout, price, and color options but could find very little information about them. Then I found a KRL in the right size, layout, and color combo and jumped on it for the price of a gatorbuilt shipped to me and went that route instead. There's no lack of information on a Masters series and it's cool as hell to have in a home garage

For the 55" model, website says the top full width drawer is 5" deep, is that actual inside (useable) depth or overall? I'm looking for a min 4.5" inside depth with the lift-latch lock (on outside of drawer). Also, any idea if drawers can be swapped around/out? Wondering if two 2.5" drawers would slip right in to replace one 5" deep one.
