I just picked up a used 75 ton press with a busted gauge. Anyone know who sells gauges for these? It has a six inch bore. Thanks

What brand of press? Dake? K R Wilson? OTC?

You won't find generic pressure gauges with tonnage markings on them, no real demand. Only way to get one will probably be from the manufacturer.

With Dake, hold on to your wallet, they are pricey. Wilson is out of business, but made an excellent press, I'd gladly trade my 25 ton Dake for a comparable K R Wilson.

You could take a standard pressure gauge and calculate the tonnage at various pressures and paint mark the gauge glass.

Its a KR Wilson, made in the 40s. I'll get some pics up at some point.

Ohhhhhhh! I'm jealous. The Wilson has the built in Arbor press feature which is nice.

These folks are the experts on Wilson presses, if anyone has or can get a gauge, they can. You will also find the manual and parts list on the web site.

You can get them with the Tonnage Label but as Charles said there not Cheap, It requires a little information to calibrate them properly for your application, Such as the Diameter of the Ram etc... I buy them for my Load testing machines and use the tonnage Dials for setting the Overloads.
