Welcome aboard and yes there's a lot of f all but you learn to pick and choose. Is Victoria around all the flooding this summer?

It seems like just a couple of years ago your whole country was going through those brutal fires/drought. Tell us about your new shed.

Welcome from another Aussie here. Let us see if we can get Admin or a Mod to move this post to the Introduction area. How about posting what part of Victoria you live in and telling us more about yourself. As for the carry on stuff well much of it makes for interesting reading as I am sure you have found just like when we Aussies have much to post it is very different to what many others deal with. Remember this is a Global forum

Oh and by the way look out for an invite to our Aussie Kiwi Social group based here on the forum.

Errrr yeah by that I meant you Americans have different ways of doing things that just aren't considered here in Oz. Techniques in construction and designs are completely different. Products, suppliers and manufacturers are also different......so thats what I meant. Twas a bit flippant. Sorry about that.

Hotfr8. Currently in Sunbury just down the road from you but if things work out we should be out of here by the end of the week. New location over at Toolangi on an acre.
No cars....just bikes.

Thanks Jabs, That helps explain what our new Green Chum (New Member) is trying to say.

The Aussie way and the American way of doing things may be different but the aim of the forum is to share ideas and you know I have gained many good ideas as well as friends from both the US and Canada from this forum.
An open mind to how others do things is a valuable asset to fitting in here. :)

Hmm sounds like a great move. I know Sunbury well. Toolangi should be a good place.

Have you had all the heavy rain like we had up here in Central Victoria?

Exactly! So if you were here, would send ya a text, drop ya a line so we could do a pub lunch at the Powerhouse. Then we go to my house, bust some knuckles, swap a few lies during a bull session. I will be at Station 16 2maro on Engine 16.

What I mean is, I am at work 2maro on Engine 16, (at a fire department), if you were in my area, we could work on stuff in my garage while talking, (my KTM needs some help). Send me a text message, (you may say SMS), so we could go to my favorite pub in Puyallup (my town), and have a pint of Amperage Amber Ale! Probably ought to work on the KTM before we have a pint! Welcome to the site!

Cheers. A bit of a mixed start but I should be able forge on.
HFr8 not taking the piss I know there are alot of usefull ideas....just that the septics do things alot different. Moving on.
When I said there are no cars involved I had no idea when I dragged me carcass out of bed this morning that I was going to look at and seriously consider a 71 Bedford Tc tipper to push into action for a work vehicle. I loathe....and by that I mean I absolutely and in no uncertain terms despise working on cars so whyy not bypass them altogether and get busy on a ratrod-ish truck to promote my business? i cut grass by the way and at $2k a week its like shooting fish in a barrel. The truck will take over the duties of my Navara dualcab and add another dimension of marketing and profitibality to the bussiness....ever shoveled 4 cubic meters out of a trailer?
Beddie has a 308 on gas and needs some elbow grease to get RWC but not much in the way of coin. Missus said I could buy another bike once all the dust has settled on our properties but I might put the coin toeards this thing. $3500 is the asking.

I think he was correct from the gate. A lot of what goes on does mean f all.

I, for one, really enjoy reading Oz, NZ, and UK posts. The guy who built the teardrop in a patio was/is fascinating.

Tell us more, critter!
