Are these old GE motors any count? This one has been sitting for 20 years but in dry environment. Aside from a little surface rust she looks pretty good but I’m no expert on electric motors. I attached some pictures as well as the specs. If they have a good reputation I’ll probably hold on to it for a future project.

Motors that sit for years my experience is replace the bearings and incase their sleeve oilable clean shaft use 10 weight oil non detergent or zoom spout. Bearings sitting for years ball bearings can micro rust as motor shafts.

If it runs after the pictured disassembly you are probably good for a long time. 50+ years.
