My local industrial supply store is having a deal on gear wrench floor jacks. 3 ton $179, 3.5 ton $210. First I have no experience with gear wrench, what has been your experience and what is the rumor on the street about these jacks or their tools in general? And for the money is there a better option?

Didn't know Gearwrench made a Jack, probably manufactured by someone else. Not a fan of Harbor Freight but their Jacks seems to be good, dependable and reasonably priced.

I've heard that they do have one jack that is a snap on knock off that is really good.

I think the Gearwrench floor jacks were released recently so, there might not be a bunch of info on them yet. There are 6 reviews on Homedepot.com that seem to mostly like it. How do your sale prices compare to a Daytona jack from harbor freight? A lot of peeps seem to like the Daytona :dunno: In the end it's probably one chinese jack versus another. The paint scheme might be the biggest difference
