I would suggest sunex or grey pneumatic strictly because their sets don't skip sizes...also 8 mm is WAY too small for 1/2 drive and 9 mm never gets used, so I would prefer a set that includes the larger sizes that I actually might need. But I never used gear wrench impacts before so maybe I'm missing out :dunno:

I wouldn't need anything smaller then 16mm but i couldn't find any other sets that go as high

I own that set, as well as the deep well set. The deep well is 8-36 no skips, while the shallows have the skips (which is weird). Nonetheless, i am VERY happy with my purchase of them. I was debating between Sunex and Gearwrench for a while. I think (if i can recall correctly) i decided on Gearwrench because of how complete the set was, and the price point. I do like that the sockets are dual marked (stamped and laser engraved), unlike the Sunex that are only laser engraved (i believe).

Overall, i have no complaints. They work as intended. I have had the sets for about a year and they see use more than once a week (not professionally, but i definitely do not baby them). The sockets are holding up great, no rounding, cracking, or even damage to the laser imprint.

I would definitely recommend the set, and the cheapest price i found at the time was from Tooltopia.

Does anyone else have feedback on these? I am also thinking about picking up the gearwrench impacts across all sizes. I'm also intersted in the flex sets. I like how complete the sets come. Granted they come with sizes I will likely never use but I like to have them. I can't stand having to fill out a set one by one and even worse when the plastic case doesn't come with a spot to put the fill ins. The completeness of the set is what sold me on the 120xp sets to replace my miss matched sets and I have been really happy with my gearwrench chrome sockets. The 120xp's have become my go to ratchets and my f80 collects dust.
