Hey guys wondering if anyone has experince with the gear wernch long ball hex sets or the long torx set. Tgis things will see constant use in a euro shop wondering if they hold up well or are mainly home owner level. Thanks for any input.

I have both of them. I'm just a homeowner so they don't see everyday use but they have worked great for me. I bought the long metric ball hex bits to do an oil pan on a jetta. Worked great to get those hard to reach weird angle bolts. I've used the long torx a few times and they have held up just fine. I don't know if they would hold up to everyday abuse in a shop but I can say they aren't complete garbage. I don't usually use them in high stress spots, will use my normal length torx or hex bits and only use the long ones and ball ends when absolutely needed.

I have the long hex and long torx. Haven't used them hardly at all but one time I snapped the ball off the end. I was trying to remove a plug from a floor jack valve body. I wouldn't write them off because of that because that was a tough situation, but be careful with what you throw at them.

Lucky that Advance Auto warrantied them.

I have the long torx set from gearwrench. I've probably used the T25 most removing door panel trim bolts attached to a cordless ratchet. No issues. I think they would be fine with hand tools and cordless ratchets but not impacts.
