I wonder if someone could help me with my Geardriver stubby screwdriver. I bought the set (normal handle, stubby & T Handle) a few years back off eBay & they’ve been fine until a few weeks ago.
Ive noticed recently that the direction bezel (in red isn’t working as it should
In this photo the screwdriver is set to tighten a screw but the pointer on the red bezel doesn’t align up with the right side arrow on the handle.
If I want to reverse the ratchet, instead of rotating the bezel about 10 degrees to the left (as you look at the photo) I need to rotate it all away to the right nearly 270 degrees until the bezel is set as seen here
(& it now wont align with the left side arrow)
I’ve also noticed that there’s now no centre/fixed position either
It still works in ratchet mode but I guess somethings become unstuck within the direction mechanism inside. Ive also noticed that theres now a bit of clearance between the top of the red bezel & the bottom of the black grip as shown in this photo
Can the bezel be removed with simple tools, or is there somewhere I can send it in the UK to get it fixed please?
Thanks!
