Well, Craftsman is made by Apex, the same parent company so I would imagine very similar... In my opinion (take it for what it is, an opinion) I don't know that you would notice a difference. Of course, I can't tell good speakers from excellent ones... Or real art from the fakes....

I've had no problems with their sockets at all. And i beat the **** out of them. I use the regular 3/8 sockets on my 1/2 impact and blast everything in sight. I haven't broken one yet.

My impression is that the chrome is a lot lighter and softer on the GearWrench sockets/wrenches when compared to the made in USA Craftsman sockets. And I do not mean is as a compliment. I have several gearwrench socket and wrench sets, all miserably scratched up just from laying in the bag, while craftsmans from the same bag still look like new.

That being said, my favorite and most used tool set is the ratcheting GW screwdriver set.

We know where we stopped counting, but it is just an estimation for us of what we need to order to see if we are going to hit the minimum order with GearWrench...

Continuous? Probably not, but every few days or so, Taylor & I will update the list so we can get a grasp on what to order.

I should have clarified... The sale is going on for what is in stock (see website for stock status).

We are still waiting to hear from GearWrench if they are going to approve the sale and how...

Folks have been placing orders for items that are out of stock. This is ok, but be aware, in the unlikely event that we are not approved, then I have to cancel the orders/change the prices.

Also ordered the Rim protector impact sockets and they work great! Worth every penny and I use them on all my customer's car even if the don't have aftermarket rims.

It is a bit confusing. The website shows how many of each that we have in stock (at the sale price, as these were left over from the last sale). You can buy them at the listed price.

If it shows "Out of stock" then we will hold the order until we get confirmation on the sale. If we don't get the sale, then we will cancel the backorders.

Most GW items are made in Taiwan. Some are made in China. I am not sure as it is not on my list where it is made.

Regarding Shipping: I just want to be totally upfront and there be no surprises. Please note that we did have to update the free shipping minimum. This should not affect most of you as the average order is over $100, but for us to be able to offer promotions like this, we had to raise the minimum order charge to $100. HOWEVER, We have been in constant contact with FedEx and are working on a different, less expensive delivery option. It is called "Smart Post." It is picked up and trucked to the Post Office by FedEx, but delivered by the Post Office. I hope to have news on this ASAP. This will reduce the shipping charges that we all have to pay.
