yes it does. I can barely torque the lower alternator bolt with a 36 tooth gearwrench on a Yaris. Yes using a torque wrench is **** but it barely has enough room to swing . And when I put a whiteline bushing under my manual transmission cradle /support( scion FRS) I had to use torque adapters with my 36 tooth gearwrench torque wrench. Actually used a 216 tooth sk x beam ratcheting wrench to remove fasteners . It was tight under there .For a torque wrench, 30 teeth or 120, does it really matter?
I’m **** plus it’s good practice .People torque alternator bolts? I was a tech at more than a few places and the torque wrench only came out for engine work or wheels.
