I was looking around for wrenches and came across this GearWrench 32PC Combination & Stubby Ratcheting Wrench Set, SAE/MM at Sears for $70.99:

http://www.sears.com/gearwrench-32p...p-00903558000P?prdNo=1&blockNo=1&blockType=G1

They are on sale for $80.99 for craftsman members (which is free) and use code SEARSTOOLS to take off another $10.00 off. The code expires Feb. 2 though.

The picture on the Sears site doesn't show it, but these come in in a storage tray too. It says it is included in the description.

The catch is these are not available for shipping and you have to pick up at local Sears if they have them in stock. The closest one for me with these in stock is 60 miles away:mad:

Yep already out of control. I'm sure some people are making a living selling sears clearance items!

Any suggestions for portable wrench holders? Bought four Ernst reverse gripper racks for
this 32 piece set and the smaller sizes are very loose. Also tried Hansen and Craftsman.

I use a HF metal wrench rack for my Gearwrenches. Although they are loose to start, the rack being metal allows you to bend the tabs to fit. Never had a problem.

LOL! @SWSHAWAII The irony is that is how a stumbled across this deal. I seen them on ebay first and decided to search them in google to see what retail was when I found this deal. I do this for all ebay items incase there is a sale.

There are a lot of items that sell for more than you can buy them for online or at a retail store.

Thanks. Interesting you recommending the HF holders, I was looking at them.
Was reading other reviews about the steel type holders having sharp edges that can cut and scratch the wrenches. I'll give them a try. These are the ones, right?

Cool! Remember to use "SEARSTOOLS" as a promo discount code when you order on line and pick up in store. $10 off $75 purchase. Incredible deal. Enjoy!

So who picked these up today? There's two about an hour away but not sure if it's worth it to buy when I already have half the set. The stubby's would be nice but oh well. I'm sure I could find some off ebay if need be.

Yes sir, those are the ones. On some of the larger Gearwrenches you have to bend the tabs a little bit in order for them to grab. I have a few of the racks (mine have black handles), and they hold up amazingly well. If I were you, I would go down and take a look at them, I love them more than any plastic holder.

Wonder if it's worth a 5000 mile round trip to Cali to check them out? LOL
They have 45 HF stores, Hawaii has none. I'll take chance and order. Thanks again.

Edit...figured it out

Edit again.... The sears website is a piece of ****!! i seriously dont understand how a multi million dollar company can run a site like that. first it wont take the coupon code...then tells me its out of stock...then i find a store to pick it up at...and now the price is back up to $135... should it really take over an hour to order a single item? garbage!

This set has been on sale since the day after Thanksgiving. (Black Friday)
I believe the sale has finally ended. I also show the "sale" price @ $135.99.

Tried again and shows the sale price of $67.97. You must "Proceed To Checkout".
