Hi, advance has these 40% off of $59.99. Here's a eBay link; https://www.ebay.com/itm/172441944653 Are they worth owning. I like the black finish. They are new for 2017.

Gearwrench is generally decent. Personally I'm not a fan of "universal" anything. tools designed for a single purpose are usually good for that purpose. "Universal" generally means that it does several things, but none of them necessarily as well as a single purpose tool.

That having been said, unless you use them in your profession, they MAY be serviceable for you.

If they're very new you may not get a lot if feedback yet.

I'm not a huge fan if spline drive generally speaking and not that big of a a Greawrench fan either (flame suit activated!). That said, give them a try and let us know what you think...

Doesn't surprise me though. GW is basically out of bullets. They made their name years ago with ratcheting wrenches and haven't had any real innovative products since. They've outsourced to China and the market is now flooded with competing products.

This is what happens when management puts their heads together to come up with something (anything) to drive sales and increase profits.

A black finish can look cool, but I can't imagine trying to find one after being dropped in an engine bay and I'd even likely overlook it if I set it down someplace while working on a project.

Interesting that the spline drive extra long ratchet box ends are very popular in my area... Guys really like them for brakes

Personally I'd like some fine tooth 6 pts but the spline drive definitely has its place from what I see

They look okay but the black rubs off after awhile and is harder to find if you drop one in engine bay. I'd say they are made well but not worth buying as they are gimmick tools for yupees

I was weak and bought it for $32. I had a $5 speed perk coupon. Ratchet is 45 tooth which is interesting. Perhaps gearwrench had a bunch of 45s left and disposed of them in this kit.
