Gearwrench 6 pc. screwdriver set 50% off

I really like them, using them tomorrow to do valve cover gaskets on my jeep liberty. A fair amount of screws on that job. But why do most screwdriver sets come with four slotted and two Phillips? Why not 3 and 3? Is the #3 Phillips just not common enough?

Was at Costco today and they had craftsman clear handle set with more (can't remember the exact count) than the gear wrench for $15.
I like the gear wrench ones I picked a lot better. I have some work to do on the cars tomorrow and will put them to use.
