I know, who needs 1/4 in impact? Well, since this set has complete SAE/Metric shallow, deep, and SWIVEL sockets, I dont think I'll be needing to buy a chrome 1/4 set.

Darn, I wasnt aware the seller had a shady reputation. At least its through amazon so I have a little more faith in the sale. At the worst, how much worse can it be than buying online at sears outlet right now? :D

i posted a BOGO deal a little while ago that was directly on ntxtools.com website. yeah, there seems to be a few reports on customer service problems, and yeah they drop ship a lot of stuff and aren't able to get you tracking info a lot of times... but at the end of the day, I got everything i ordered in perfect condition and they didn't charge me until my order was received. I honestly wouldn't worry too much about ntxtools.com; just know you can't expect them to get you a tracking number or give you accurate status about your order. just wait until you get your order.

I bought that kit last year from Cripe distributing for about $85. It has a pretty good assortment. I mostly just bought it for the swivel sockets

Amazon is very little help with bad sellers. I no longer purchase through their third parties, after amazon refused to help when a seller shipped me incorrect part numbers. I was out $45 in shipping fees for them making a mistake, unacceptable.

Rub it in will ya :p... I'm still kicking myself for missing that deal. I paid the $149 for the set and still think its a fantastic deal.

Amazon shows shipped as of the 23rd, no tracking info available.

For what its worth, the seller/price paid is no longer available for this set. Amazon switched to another vendor once this one sold out, price is now $149+shipping from the vendor that took over, but thats probably still lowest price you can find right now.

Still not a bad deal, probably give it a shot after the next paycheck. They'll work nice with the Dewalt 18v impact driver.
