OMG...if that sells for around $50 its going to be a game changer. Looks like a bastardized wright/matco...the two finest ratchets on the market imho.

Interesting, the handle looks much better than the Craftsman versions. That, combined with stubby/flex/etc options, should make these popular.

Looks like the Craftsman Premium to me. Those ratchets were nice from what I saw but not as smooth and much sloppier than my Dual 80s.

It's just the regular 60-tooth Gearwrench ratchet except with 84 teeth.

The same design is used in all the 60, 84 and 88 tooth ratchets. That's Gearwrench, Craftsman, Armstrong, MATCO. For example, you can put 88 tooth MATCO kits in the 60 tooth Gearwrench and Armstrong ratchets.

Below are the new and old Gearwrench ratchets, with maybe a minor cosmetic change on the new.

But, from that article it looks like they'll be offering some new variations, including offset and long.

Old news. We talked about this last month when Gearwrench had the regular 3/8 ratchet with 84 teeth on display at the SEMA show in Vegas.
Unlike the Craftsman premium, the Gearwrench versions will use the thin steel gear cover with snap ring instead of the thicker steel plate with two screws.
84 teeth will become the Gearwrench ratchet standard next year across the whole line in 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 drive to include flex head and comfort grip models.:bounce:
It's just a variation on a theme. If you open up a Gearwrench, Armstrong Maxx, or Matco ratchet with 60, 84, or 88 teeth, it's the same design with the multitoothed floating pawl avalible in 3 tooth sizes..
