My pockets are not deep enough to be AmericanExclusive. To me it seems imported tools became semi accepted about the time GrearWrench came out. I do have an early set that say's Tawain on it that other than minor scratches is still good as new. I am not a pro wrench, but I know a few and most have GW sharing space with the truck tools. 90% of my hand tools say USA, and many were bought just because of that (back ups for back ups), and I thought the price was right at the time. Sometimes there is just not an affordable American offering. Advance probably employs at least 100 people in my American town, no telling how many nationwide, I hope they stay in business, its not like I am ordering direct from an ebay seller abroad. With all the promo codes, discounts, and coupons available these days, they seem to be willing to do what it takes. Still I bet Rockauto is putting a hurting on em, and has a more sustainable business model.
