google them. you'll find plenty of sketchy stuff about them. I would have used paypal..

they may be legit, but after reading what I read, I would watch my credit card statements if I were you.

Huge blow to NTXtools here. As if they could afford any more haha.

I wouldn't say so. They did come out and directly say it was a mistake and on top of that offered a discount off the normal price for those who still want to order one.

Did you really think they would eat the cost of every kit sold, including orders that had quantities of 10 or 20?

I had a few issues with NTX, and after reading the reviews thought I made a big mistake. They made it right and I have ordered several GearWrench/KD promos in the time since with ZERO issues.

Hard to find better pricing with the deals.

If anything... because of how they handled the few mistake price items with deals and my bogo appears to be processed I would not avoid NTXtools. I would definitely use them again for any deals found. Was kinda obvious nobody was going to get a $500 setup for $60.

Nxtools just got a decent chunk of my business, leaving for a business trip Saturday, time to put their shipping speed to the test.

I managed to typo my e-mail so I called to have order confirmation resent, I was surprised when a real person answered the phone on the second ring, no automated system.

I see you're not a business owner.

Bingo. Just an expert.

An online retailer doesn't make pricing mistakes. That kills business.

Ask Amazon (the world's largest online retailer) how many pricing mistakes they make. They actually have pricing down to a science. Oh, and their revenue wasn't too shabby every quarter for the last 60-100 quarters.

They offered a solution. And communicated clearly. No hate from me, but that's the least they could do to those that ordered.

Arrived... 1/4 inch extentions with 3/8 gimbal and 1/4 gimbal... for the sum of $11 + $10 shipping... still a deal. Priced seperately on amazon for between $40 and $58.

* included the pick ticket... showing each item seperately to be picked.

WOW WOW WOW

I ordered Sunday and the tools just showed up right now.

3/8" ratchet set that comes with a free 1/4" set.
Metric Flare nut wrenches with free SAE flare nut set
3/8" midlength socket set with free 1/4" midlength set.

To my surprise, the ratchet sets were advertised as 84 tooth....guess what came in the mail? 120XP ratchet for BOTH SETS. Freaking DEAL.

Pictures?

Yeah, the photo didn't match the description since the boxes had yellow latches which means it's a 120xp set. I believe that makes the BOGO even more of a bargain.

Amazon makes a ton of pricing mistakes. I've had personal experience with three - two minor ones they ate, and one major one (x2) they simply cancelled. Not 3rd party sellers.

One thing to consider when you blast out quarters of revenue is that despite massive revenue, Amazon makes little to no profit. I'm not saying it's stupid - they are investing in infrastructure and continuing to build Amazon. But at some point they're going to want to change that, and they'll start to look a bit like other retailers. By that time though, they'll have the infrastructure in place to deliver all products next-day for basically free, and same day delivery in a ton of areas (versus the few they have now.)

I took a chance on NTX Tools and ordered the GW 80554SPRO that came with the 80554S and 80304S. I added GW 80555S and 80305S to round out the set. I placed the order on 7/12/15 and it was on my doorstep on 7/14/15. Good job NTX!

I ordered multiple items from them yesterday at 6 in the morning and it was on the door step by lunch today in WV. It came from Seattle Washington. It doesn't get much better than that. I would order from then again in a heartbeat.

Did anyone receive their 1/4" and 3/8" metric mid-length socket sets yet? I was wondering if anyone could take a few pictures or give a little blurb about the perceived quality on them.

Other then getting my rejection notices for the impact set , I haven't seen nor heard about the remainder of my order at all. I kinda hoped it would be here by now, guess on Monday I'll need to contact them.

Btw fir, I have both sizes in metric and sae of GWs in a mid and they're fine, no complaints at all.

The ones in the deal aren't GW though right? They're KD Tools? I've been a little confused by that because I keep seeing people talking about GW in the thread but most of the BOGO deals I saw on there were for KD. Is KD Tools the same as GW?

I got my order in today minus the impacts that were priced wrong. Along with a few other orders from other companies containing higher priced USA made hand tools. It was like Christmas when the UPS guy came. :)

I have to say out of the tools that came in today, I was most impressed with the gearwrench mid length sockets. The rails are great, sockets have good knurling and high quality finish. Haven't used them yet though, so we will see how they hold up. So far they look just as good or better than any of the other sockets in my toolbox.

I was expecting to be more impressed with my new Armstrong wrenches, than the gearwrench sockets.

Yup, I got mine and they are nice. The rails are one of the best imo. Very study and has very good retention without being too tight or loose.
