I doubt you break one but if you do tell Apex you bought them at Sears. They don't back their tools and will for any reason not to warranty it

very nice wrenches. Very heftly, nice beams, quite long [just a bit longer than Cman Professionals]. Both sets for $100 is an decent deal provided you need them. You probably wont make any money off it if your intent is to flip them though.

Hello,
New guy here, but just wanted to add that I have seen the same deal offered at other places too, they were the 6 points though if that matters to you. For some reason the 12 points are always more expensive.

Edited to also add, my mistake I was thinking of the 28 piece set that is 6 point.

I got the metric set 8-22mm. They're the older Taiwan versions. I like them. They seem well balanced has offcorner engagement on the boxed end and have the same modified open end as some armstrong and matco wrenches.
$99.95 is about right for that set. I believe the sae sizes start at 1/2 on that set. If you don't need the sae sizes, there are some good gearwrench fixed metric wrench set specials here on page 2:

I have the 15 piece set in both metric and SAE. Nice wrenches. Not to make you ill, i got them at Advanced Auto when they were blowing them out at $9.99.

Aww c'mon, don't tell people that! Now he'll NEVER feel like he got a deal. ;)

But yeah, that deal was on when I was travelling and I had a trunkful of the sets - sold most of 'em all on here. Of course I kept one of each for myself too and I've been really happy with them. I have a Proto T500 set and (though I don't use tools as much or as hard as many on here) I'd be hard pressed to find a difference... except the for extra $320.

I know you've had issues, but just for the op's info, the few things I've needed to get warrantied (including an extension that just had some peeling chrome) have been done quickly and without my even having to send the old part in. I don't think they asked for a place of purchase either.

Great wrenches, I have them and they are high quality. I dug this link up for you if you want a deal, always good to have another set:

http://www.tooltopia.com/kd-tools-81920promo.aspx

or

http://www.tooltopia.com/kd-tools-81916p.aspx

I'm not sure I understand that deal... You buy an 18pc metric wrench set and get a 15pc metric wrench set for free??? Why would you want two metric wrench sets? I wish it was a 15pc SAE set. I would buy it now

The other deal makes more since.
