My guess is, they did a check to see if your CC was real. Mine CC readout was the same and later there was the real charge with the correct the invoice amount.

Check back again later to see if there are charges for the amount if the invoice.

I think you’re correct. I saw later that it was gone completely and I expect it to return as a full charge. I saw an Amazon charge do the same thing today. Seeing it reminded me that I’m done spending for the month!

Some people are saying these items are all drop shipped which makes sense. The delivered could be your order being accepted from the supplier or indication its shipped. Give it a day or two and see what happens.

I know a lot of people on slickdeals spend their mortgage, rent, utilities, food money on ordering vast quantities of products, in hopes of a quick flip and throw a temper tantrum when the money is ******* for a week or so. Exactly my attitude. I've gotten into a few arguments over at slickdeals where people find an obvious price mistake at a mom & pop webstore for 98% off and argue that the people should go into financial ruin and honor the price mistake into bankruptcy.....it makes no sense.

Mine now shows "Delivered". The page for that item shows "This item is no longer available on Lowes.com."

The shipping method is "Parcel Shipping". I'm hopeful this means it was shipped.

Think about it. Is it just a BS marketing plow to get us to look at LOWES? A bait and switch if you will. I realize they don't sell these items at retail, but screwing with folks on mailorder is not a great way to build goodwill with customers.

If they wanted to make money on a bait and switch ploy, I'd expect more automation on the backend. The rate at which orders are cancelled, and how stuff processed on the backend, it seems like someone is over there doing this one at a time.

Well this is the first time I've ordered through Lowe online, but guys are saying this happens fairly often. So they either want it to happen or are too incompetent to stop it.

I can't speak to how often it happens, but I've had good success with Lowes and their highly discounted items. My last purchase was for (4) 100# garage door springs. I got them for 53 cents each, shipped.

Same, and today is the day they're supposed to be available. I'm going to swing by on my way home from work, and if the order is cancelled, raise some hell. Not because of the mis-priced item, but because I haven't gotten any communication that my item was cancelled.

My patience with Lowe's is thin as it is, due to them killing Kobalt for Craftsman. The craftsman stuff didn't impress me at all when I was in store, especially not for the price point.

If it has truly shipped, I suspect they fulfilled as many orders as they could at that price. They just got in too many orders and cancelled the ones that came in after their limit.
