Alright, most will flame me but i love gearwrenches digital torque wrenches. Plus their handle is all steel and allows the use of a my fancy cheater pipe, sometiems 12" can make all the difference.

SO i went it to look in to this one and noticed all are out of stock. Id hate to buy another one if they are no longer serviced...coments?

Are you worried about the one with the angle also or only the torque model. The angle model is sort of unique the non-angle model isn't very special. I have both the small and the big angle models (virtually new) and they are OK but I wouldn't get too exited about dumping them if somebody made me an offer I couldn't refuse. By they way, make sure you take the batteries out of them if you're not going to use them for awhile. These apparently have some battery drain whether you turn them off or not.

Well, they already dumped the Armstrong USA based clicker torque wrenches for junky Chinese models. Wouldn't be surprised if the digital models are next to be discontinued/replaced.

If you need to buy another one buy CDI. They'll be around for years to come. Made in USA and owned by Snap On as part of their industrial brand.

Funny guy funny guy. I dont want a bigger wrench because its range extends to 250lbs. I never use mine for anything over 90. In fact 30-80 is average range i need.

If youre tring to do a 90d angle with a tiny 16" er you'll be forced to put considerable amount of weight and muscle behind it and either go over or stop short because you are afraid that you will go over. Seems like common sense to me, surprised so many dropped their ******* jaw. You want to work harder be my guest. I'll take a more efficient reliable way.

Never a good thing to make any intermediate stops unless you have to. Pretty much rule number one for doing any head or case bolts. One full smooth steady swing. ~ 28" overall length of tool allows just that.

Yeah i must have linked the wrong wrench. Angle model is one i am thinking of. And just noticed that the pics are way off there. They picture a 26" while in specs its still 16".

I've learned the battery trick the hard way. Lucky i stocked up on that garabage from HF last year lol.

A cheater on an electronic wrench might work without doing some math, but I'm not positive on that. Given the price in your link I'd probably buy Snap-on and save a couple bucks though.
