Gearwrench,Kobalt???

Customer told me today that he can swap out gear wrench at Lowe's and get a Kobalt in it's place....I heard they were the same stuff but didn't believe it....If this is true.....What's next? Matco for Kobalt? :lol_hitti

danaher owns KD ( gearwrench) they own Matco, they own kobalt, they own craftsman.
So they might just do that.
Just to be clear, they make some Kobalt and Some Craftsman. Kobalt & Craftsman are owned by Lowe's and Sears respectively and many of the items in those brands are made by companies other than Danaher.

Why would you want to? The kobalt ratcheting wrenches uses danahers cheap course ratchet end.

Those kobalt ratcheting wrenches are terrible, extremely coarse and hard to turn.
