Try posting a picture of the hinge close-up, but it seems to me like it's probably hinged in one of two ways...

1) long metal rod runs entire length of lid - just tap it out and pull from the other end.

-or-

2) plastic pins molded on lid - flex lid to disengage pins - good luck not breaking them!

BTW... why would you ever want to sell it? Screwdrivers are a hell of a handy item to have around.

At the moment, i won't want to ever sell it. :lol_hitti

But who's to say i'll feel the same way in 6 months if i find something else shiny? :p

I'll see what i can do about a close up. It feels like it's all plastic, so i'm guessing we're talking about #2.

Pop out the plastic wedge if possible. Is there a seam between the 2 parts of the outer shell or is it 1 solid piece with folded plastic. If it is a real seam, then you should be able to pop the plastic wedge, and the 2 parts will separated and reassemble later.
