I see MAC tools has a pocket prybar , but I was watching a recent South Main Auto YouTube video and he was using a Gearwrench pocket prybar that was sent to him.
Anyone know the Gearwrench part number and where you can buy it?

Spent the $20 or so on a snap on pocket screwdriver. I have the mac mini prybar as a back up at work in cause I forget my snap on some how. The mac is fine, but I like the snap on screwdriver so much I feel naked without it. My argument maybe mute because I know nothing about the GW mini prybar, but between mac and snap on, hands down the Snap on by a mile.

I'd go with the mac set. I use them religiously and had snap on pocket screw drivers. They're actually made with a different metal so they don't bend like the snap on picket screw drivers or other pocket screw drivers. Love them, just with they came with a magnet.

Maybe it's just personal preference, but I like the snap on better. I use it for everything from prying and scrapping as well as a screwdriver. It is just the right size that I cannuse it on Phillips that aren't super tight. Maybe it is just that I find the Mac awkward to use as a screwdriver. Yeah I could also carry a pocket screwdriver, but why when one works good for both. From the looks of it, the part number is SDD204. I'm ballparking on the price as it has been years since I bought one. I think it was like $9 way back then so I said $20 because I have no idea what they are today. I would say give or take I break it about every two years. Lifetime warranty so he gives me another one.

I meant the set. I like the Mac screw driver because it’s not as bendy

I couldn't find it on Gearwrench's web site. perhaps a prototype or swag sent to Eric O. :dunno:

As for the MAC pocket prybar set, I like mine but, I think MAC could do better with it. First, it's not the MAC screwdriver handle of old. The set is made in Taiwan.
Secondly, the blades are on the short side at a hair over 2 inches in length. The best free pocket screwdrivers in the world made by Alexander, blades are 2.5 inches long for comparison. Next, the pocket clips feel that they're going to fall off the handle at any moment. There's no magnet on the handle :wtf:
Lastly, the curve on the pry bar blade should face towards the clip so, it doesn't jab you when you lean over something.
Now considering you have to pay for the Mac two piece pocket pry bar set, it makes my stash of free Alexander made pocket screwdrivers that more valuable to me

I had a feeling when Eric O showed the mini-prybar that all hell would break out here. I hate to admit it but I found it to be mega-cool myself. Seems perfect for those annoying electrical connectors.

I looked it up on eBay and it gives a Gearwrench with part number 82700. Personally I use Snap-on and Mac and a few off brands and they work fine but Gearwrench makes good stuff so I’m sure theirs would work.

It's not a GW 82700, those have no bend in the shank of the blade.

The guy who sent it to him mentioned that he makes them for a lot of companies. I got the impression it was more of a promotional item than a regular stocking item, but I'm not certain.
