Taiwan and china.

I have a lot of gearwrench stuff, my only complaint is the chrome chipping off on some of the sockets and extensions, all of the ratchets seem to be fine.

My 1/4" socket set and 3/8" extensions are made in China. The 3/8" sockets, 1/4" extensions and all my ratchets are made in Taiwan. I don't see a difference in quality but I have not had them very long.

It depends on the vintage. earlier Gearwrench offerings were all Taiwan made. A couple of years ago, with their first large expansion production was moved to the PRC for most tools. There are differences in the finish of the the countries' products. Welcome to the board!!!

Agree ^^, the earlier stuff was all Taiwan but now it seems production has almost completely moved to China.
