I noticed them when I was looking for cable clamp pliers. I ended up with the Craftsman cable pliers because of the price. If I remember correctly the gearwrench set was fairly high $$ for something imported.
I can't figure out why gearwrench prices some of their stuff the way they do. The half moon and "S" wrenches are high dollar also (unless sears has a sale) for a tool you wouldn't use very often. You would think since their making the stuff in Taiwan and China that they have a good size profit margin. I would be surprised if some of the stuff sells very well at all. Isn't the Walmart philosophy to sell at a slight profit but sell a billion of them. Seems to have worked for Walmart (not getting into ethics etc.)
