They are on super sale at Sears.com right now...$10-12 per ratchet. I snagged a 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", and a 3/8" stubby for about $60 shipped today.

I snagged an entire set myself, along with a couple stubbies last week. I love them so far. Much, much better than the Craftsman junk I was using...which will be going in a box and thrown in the attic :lol_hitti

Here's a question:
Does anyone know if the new 84 tooth GW ratchets are the same as the 60, but just with more teeth? Does anyone know whether the body of the ratchet and the sizes/configurations offered will be the same otherwise?

from the pics i could find they look identical, since you could already upgrade to the 88 tooth matco kit, (and in the armstrongs maxx) i would assume this is just new internals, but have yet to see them in person.

Just curious if anyone is seeing or buying ratchets mad in China? I have heard that GearWrench moved production to China, however all the ratchets people are getting through the Sears clearance seem to be made in Taiwan.

I just received 6 addition ratchets all were made in Taiwan. I bought two different sets last year frOm tooltopia and I can't remember what the COO was on those. These are great ratchets though. All I need is a long Matco flex head and "I'M DONE!!" I hope.... For the month...maybe

I think all of the ratchets are still Taiwan, but the wrenches are China. I have a lot of Gearwrench tools and fortunately have only their pass-thru set that is China COO.
