I recently started a new job and I currently own quite a few gear wrench tools and I've added this to my collection. Very happy with how these are made and the tray fits perfectly in my tool box. Just an added bonus, I found out by my snap on tool man that snap on covers the warranty for all gear wrench products. All I have to say is, if snap on covers these tools at these prices, they have got to be good. And they are. So far no problems with any screw driver.

---do you think snap on would really swap these out with a snap on driver, or something else, or is this just false information???

Probably misquoted, if the snap on driver sells gearwrench, as many do, then they may handle the warranty, through gearwrench/apex.

Some Snap On drivers will warranty third party products if they carry them.

My Snap On Dealer will warranty GearWrench tools. My Snap On Dealer has also warrantied my Kniplex pliers branded by other Tool trucks. I had a Kiplex plier branded Matco and my Snap On Dealer gave me the same plier branded with Snap On Logo. It depends on your dealer.

those are good screwdrivers... fit perfectly in my hand in many positions. good tips, magnetic even, and has hex bolsters for the larger sizes. the only drawback is that they don't have the shaft going through the handle to and end-cap you can hammer on, but that's not the intended design.

I have a set of Gearwrench screwdrivers and LOVE them. I don't deal with SO so I have no idea if they would warranty them or not.

Gearwrench is (now) chinese and priced higher than taiwanese. I can't stomach that. That dog won't hunt!

Just go buy kobalt stuff or pittsburgh pro, seriously. 40 bucks for a chinese screwdriver set is dumber than a box of rocks territory. :willy_nil For half the price (20 bucks) you could buy a large set of craftsman usa, a large set of kobalt (usa or taiwan?), or two medium sets of pittsburgh pro (taiwan I think). Plus you can just warranty it in store instead of mailing it to south west tajikistan :)lol:) for review from an underpaid employee looking to deny warranty claims.

You could also buy a medium set of wera for 20 bucks.
