ok, i don't know if this is a deal or not, but just sharing a thought...
i've noticed that homedepot.com now has Gearwrench stuff, but you can only buy online, or probably over the phone too. The prices are decent, comparable to Amazon.com prices really. But, since it is homedepot.com, there might be a way to get some good deals on the Gearwrench stuff:
1) you could tell them you have a Lowe's 10% off coupon and see if they'll give that to you when you order by phone.
2) in my area, a lot of handyman and smaller contractors tend to have Home Depot store credits that they want to trade for cash. I can usually buy these for about 70%-80% of actual value. you can pickup some of these cards to use to order and basically pay 70%-80% of the price. you can combine this with #1 for a net effect of 28%-37% off the homedepot.com price.
anyway.. the idea came to mind after i just noticed Gearwrench stuff on homedepot.com.
