Picked these up today (last ones at that Sears) for $20 out the door.

I thought of Garage Journal, and asked if they were clearencing them out of all the stores. The lady said YES. Although no other store in my area had them.

And just a heads up, the price tags still read $89.99/each. They will ring up at the discounted price. The part numbers are accurate on the receipt, but are not on their website. Call your store to ask for inventory/price. (the -$0.97 is my student discount)

And as a little side note, today was the first time I went in to Sears and was treated extremely well. The lady who helped me was very knowledgeable, very kind, and very willing to help. Amanda @ Sears Phoenix Metro store gets a thumbs up.

How many pieces are in a set?

Is this a nationwide sears sale on the Gearwrench X-Beam Sets or just a few stores?

these were mentioned a couple of months ago and were cleared out at most stores. i'm amazed you found some remaining sets. it's worth having a look for sure, but like i said it was hit pretty hard prior. i'll try to find the link and post it

I saw that, but they were never on sale out here. Also, the lady that helped me last night told me the sale has been going on for a week.

I purchased this evening the Gearwrench X-Beam metric set at the Sears Hardware in Bainbridge (Route 306 exit, on Washington St) for $19.88 + tax. The shelf tag price is $79.99 for either the metric or the standard set. The store has 2 metric and 1 standard sets left. By the way, I do not do shipping! On your mark, get set, go buy them! LOL

I would call other area Sears Hardware stores and ask if they have stock of the X-Beam sets.

So are they out in all of the valley or just in the west valley?

Stopped by on the way home this evening. Nothing on the shelf, they had a bunch of stuff on sale throughout the store. Asked a clerk, wrote down the number and she said they were on back order with none in the store. :dunno: The only thing close they had were the 7pc x beam FLEX ratcheting, but they were $99.99 each. :eyecrazy:  O well, looks to be a regional thing.
