That's the normal price for that set. All German tools are that way. You'll save at least 50% buying from Amazon.de vs anywhere in the US. It can take forever to get if you don't pay for faster shipping (I ordered a Gedore ratchet in late October, it's going to be here 12/4), but it's generally worth the effort.

I just placed my first order the other day, what shipping option do you recommend? If I remember correctly there were four options, at least for the item I ordered. I am not in a rush, so not a big deal, but I can weigh the cost versus time difference based on the item I am looking at.

I ordered Gedore ferrule crimping pliers from .de on Nov. 17, saved 20 USD over already low KC Tool price. I chose cheapest delivery option since I don't need them right away. They did not charge my cc until a few days ago, I expected the charge to show up the same day or day after, I kept checking my cc app to see when it will show. Amazon.de tracking shows that mail carrier picked it up on Nov. 23, it is in England now. So. 17 to 23, figure one week between ordering and actual shipping. And it looks like they charged my cc when they were ready to ship.
If I recall correctly KC Tool also has a statement on their website for this product that say something to effect that I would have had to wait for a week or two before they actually ship the item.

I ordered a set of stahwille wrenches the other week with the standard delivery option.
They would have been here in under a week if they hadn't been shipped "signature required". I'm hoping to have time to pick them up at DHL tomorrow.

They'll give you a rough guide as to when it'll show up when you order them. Depends how quickly you want to get them. I'm on the west coast though. So, it takes quite a bit longer to get to me. Orders from Amazon.co.jp get to me in like 2-3 days with standard shipping.

Got some Wera for a decent price. Oddly some stuff was significantly cheaper (like 50% vs. KC Tool) and other items were 10-30% higher.

Lot of things change during the holidays. especially this year, when UPS will be charging more the closer to Xmas. UPS is also delivering on Saturday to residential now.
At some point, they have to expand their hours somewhere. The trucks can only handle so many packages, and internet orders are only increasing. I laughed and still do at drone delivery, but if you think about it, how many UPS/FED/DHL/USPS trucks do are we going to want out on the road.
