I came across a Gedore 3293 "plug" ratchet today. The drive plug appears to be missing and I can't seem to find a replacement listed anywhere. Most of the 3293s I've found listed online are reversible. Apparently this ratchet had several revisions over the years. This one came from my mother's husband who had it hanging by his working chute. It was his dad's nd I'd like to get it back into working order and use it.
Was there a thread a few weeks or months ago about replacement plug drives? My google searching has only returned bent handle spark plug ratchets. I'd like to find a Gedore replacement but a generic 3/4 drive plug would suit me fine too.
I plan on taking it apart for a thorough cleaning and will knock of as much rust as possible. I think it deserves at least one cleaning before it gets put back into service. The screw holding the mechanism in might be problematic. It feels like they used locktite at the factory.
