COO on the Craftsman is 50/50 chance between USA and China. They switched over to China, but still some out there USA (especially in local stores), because these are typically a slow moving item and taking time before they all turn over to China.

I've ordered lots from their clearance sales. The ratchets are buttery smooth, by far my favorite. The sockets are also my favorites out of the several brands I've collected. The hammers are nice, too, handles are nothing fancy though.

That sliding T bar is amazing quality. Watch for shipping charges (done by weight), if you're just trying to get a single item. Might as well get an assortment!
