You might want to re-consider expressing such thoughts in the future...

BWP is a highly-respected & very helpful long-time member who was stating a simple fact. The India-made Gedore wrenches sold for dirt-cheap back in the 1970s. What you paid for them isn't really pertinent...

I'm sure he wasn't intentionally trying to sour your deal.
