Saw this today while browsing online, will become available later, no smaller sets or individual pieces though so that's a dealbreaker for me.

Search Gedore and will show all the mechanic and household sets.

The older Gedore tools supposedly weren't/aren't as nice as the current production. Also, at one point Gedore manufactured a lower cost tool line in India. There was a recent thread on the Indian Gedore tools. The Indian tools weren't known for being pretty. There's also a South African Gedore that may have been set up as a different company. :headscrat I'm not sure about the entire line from the South African division, but some of the products are also different production that are actually made in South Africa.

The US GSA.

A lot of our hand tools were bought on the impac card. The Snap-On guy was envogue when I left. We would do like parts kits and some consumables through GSA though. You could get some great stuff off from GSA if you spent the time going through it all, but what a mess in general. A lot of the prices were just stupid compared to Snap-On or local retailer for example. At times they made the Snap-On truck look like a bargain on wheels!

interesting that they come with tool trolleys I've never seen a big box store offer a complete set in a rolling case although I could never spend that much

It might be who they are buying them through. A lowes employee explained to me that they can order almost anything since they have an agreement through grainger...but then he also told me that a guy came in to order a 24 volt dewalt battery until they priced it at $250 before tax!

I like Gedore, but that is absurd. If you really want that kind of stuff, try ebay.de and make some friends in Germany to ship them all over together at once for you. ;)
