Are all Gedore created equal? I know some came out of India, and India is not exactly known for high quality forging.

I have some Geodore combination wrenches marked India. This would mean they are knock-offs, correct??

Great quality - lifetime warrantee - they are good enough to have some indian fellows make fakes out of.

Those aren't fakes... Gedore once manufactured in India & it isn't uncommon to see wrenches of the sort Rick describes. My cousin bought a set very cheaply in the late 70s as his first mechanics tools.

Besides, if someone was going to the trouble of counterfeiting Gedores, they certainly wouldn't say "India" on them!

Lots of india made ones around. They are total **** of the lowest order. The Europe made ones are excelent.

I happened to notice today that I have an double open end Gedore made in Germany in my service tray that I carry from my box to my car to work on it. The wrench looks and feels ok and all, but some of you seem to be glowing about this brand. What's so great about them? The wrench I have is kind of dull and utilitarian looking. :headscrat
