First off Hello to everyone, second, THANKS for showing off your awesome garages and shops and making me second guess what I have !

Heres a quick run down, I rented a 4 bay garage for 3 years before the wife and I finally bought our first house. The garage sucked big time, steel roll up doors that got jammed all the time, no man door, tons of mice and snakes all the time, and the jamming door almost cost me my life in a garage fire due to a birds nest falling out of the eve and onto the stove pipe.

The new house was bought mainly for the garage, it`s 25 feet deep and about 50 foot long, tons of electric, 220, heated, drywalled ( most of it ) a second floor, 1 bay is tall enough for a lift, 2 overhead doors and one more that is covered up ( not sure why ) which would make this a 3 car garage. I`ll post pictures once I`m done putting everything away. The coolest thing about the garage is it`s history, from what an old timer told me this garage was used to build race cars and even had a Daytona 500 race car in it.

Anyways, thanks to you guys I now have too many ideas and very little money to do anything right now but dream.

Welcome to GJ, Cage. Talk with neighbors and other old timers and see if anyone has pictures of your place through the years. Keep that history alive and write it down. Looking forward to seeing pix when you get them.
