I have turned wrenches for approx. 55 yrs now and have dissected pretty much everything you can imagine but not one of these. I’m lost and have no clue what and when things are supposed to take place on this This unit has approx. 6 hrs on it. From out of no where it started blowing water from between the neoprene fitting and pump housing (pic 1).
After opening this project up you can see what some call it a pressure switch joint. (Pic #2)
Generac is no help. I have taken pictures of the model number and they claim the model # doesn’t come up. It’s less than 2 years old.Anyway can anyone tell me a few things here? What would cause the water to blow out the oring? And secondly do you line up the holes that are in the neoprene fitting with the hole that are in the pump housing? (Pic 3)
Thanks
