Generac Power Washer Outlet problem

I have a few year old Generac Power/Pressure washer, lent it to a friend and they returned it with the outlet threads cross threaded. Now the hose that screws on here will act like its on but once the machine is turned on it blows the hose off. Is there any fix for this? Unfortunately the threaded outlet piece is part of a larger housing.

It looks alot like thats just a ****** and will loosen off. Look inside the pipe to be sure?

Exactly why I never lend anything out to anyone. People are idiots and just don't care.

I'll take a closer look at it tonight and get back to you.

Sure looks like a ****** to me. Might be a good opportunity to install a quick coupler if so.
