Generac Xp10000E

Hi guys/gals,
Gotta generator wiring question that hopefully someone can help me with. As the title states I have a Generac Xp10000E generator. I know that the neutral and ground are bonded and my question is this:

Instead of taking the bonding wire off the ground and neutral could i wire in a switch at the generator that would disconnect the bond for when i need to backfeed the panel and then flip it for when i use in portable mode? Does that seem feasible? If possible what kind of switch would I need?

Feasible, yes. Any toggle switch with the appropriate AC voltage and amperage rating ?

Yes you can do that. Just put a safety label on the generator saying the neutral is not bonded. I think the easiest thing to do is make up a plug with the neutral and ground bonded that you plug into one of the outlets. Downside is it takes up an outlet when using the gen as a portable.
