General Contractor from KY

I've lurked here off and on for quite a while and thought I might as well join up so I could partake in the fun.

I'm a self employed General Contractor from KY. I do mostly residential construction and remodels and a ton of service/maintenance work. Been working for myself since 2006 and seriously doubt at this point I could go back.

Anyway, looking forward to reading more and learning about things. I'm not a mechanic by any means but I love to tinker. I also have a habit of buying tools.

Most of my experience is in the skilled trades and construction field. If anyone has a construction question or wants to know something about a specific carpentry tool feel free to PM, I'll be glad to help if I can.

Welcome to the GJ from Maine. I too have been self employed so long, I don't think I could work for anyone else. I just hope I can continue to make money that way. I actually have to pick up an item in Mayfield, Kentucky, so I will be headed your way (generally speaking) in a month or so. This place is full of people that know a lot, sit back and learn, but don't forget to ask questions and post your experiences as well.
