General Discussion or Vintage Tool sharpener/grinder?

Not sure where to post this but it's most likely from the 1950's-60's. I've had this for over 40 years and never used it.
It's about time to put it in service, Only markings are G71, The reduction from the large pulley from the motor to the stone is 12 to 1 so it could possibly at 50 RPM grinder gear with a 1725 motor and a 1,5" pulley. Does this sound feasible? The grinding stone is 10" diameter and approx. 2"wide.
Could someone date this and let me know the manufacturer?
