It looks like a good tool. I have a general bandsaw and am very happy with it. General is known for their good tools- better then jet not as good as Delta.

It's only 1/3 hp and it says .3 amps so you won't be leaning into it too much. The description says grind wheel for metal and belt for wood. I had a 1/2 HP delta (I killed it in a year) and now have a 1hp sears unit. I've had good service from the 1/2 HP delta but when I've seen these 1/3 hp units they look really toyish. My delta and cm units run 42" belts. I realize all three of these are just puppies compared to the real industrial units but I'd still say there is a big step from the 1/3hp and the 42" belt models. I got my cm 1 hp for $50 like new off cl. I would recommend at least a 42" belt unl;ess you're just making models or light duty stuff.

That grinder is the "International" brand of General, made off shore to i suppose their specs.
Probably work fine, but just don't try to "hog" metal with it, used within it's means will probably be ok.

Looks like some thing you would find at Happy Fart.

Problem is with combination tools, unless they are very well thought out (engineered) and very well built, they are good at neither.

Take "ShopSmith" for example - they thought it out very well, did their R&D and produced a very good time honored product
