Just got a quote for doing my garage floor in the new house from a local company and they state they use General Polymers 4850. This is a polyaspartic coating and is a Sherwin Williams product from what I can tell.

They offer a lifetime warranty on the floor. It doesnt mention yellowing in the warranty, just peeling and delamination. I understand polyaspartic should NOT have a problem with UV yellowing like epoxy does.

Their quote only included a single layer of clear and most full flakes I see on here recommend a second coat of clear for full flake. I dont know how thick they lay down the clear top coat though.

So does anybody have experience with this product? My google skills are failing me at searching for reviews of this floor coating material.

Looks like 90% solids. This should be ok for a single coat over full-flake.

Typically 85% and above is satisfactory for a single coat.

Thanks.

I'm still leaning towards your nohr-s full flake kit. I have a few months to decide. I just can't find any real world reviews on this coating outside of the vendors Google page.

The Nohr-S Kit utilizes (2) clear-coats which is much easier to apply as the 90% Polyaspartic is curing VERY fast as you try to apply it. Asses & Elbows.
