So I'm going to be installing a multi head mini split in a couple weeks. The wires for the outdoor unit (12AWG THHN) will be run in conduit from the MSP out to a disconnect.
I currently have my generator inlet box on the back side of the house. I utilized some existing 8/3 that used to supply an old hot tub. That runs into an interlock to back feed the MSP.
I was thinking I may want to move the generator to a more permanent location on the same side of the house as the AC outdoor unit. Is there anything prohibiting me from utilizing the same conduit? I would replace the wire with with 10AWG THHN (30A breaker). Also, can I still only run 1 ground wire (PVC conduit).
