I am building a quiet box for my Honda EU2200 for the RV and now working on the exhaust baffle. The seal between the genset and baffle box (it is not a box yet, still working on it) is critical and needs to be as leak free as possible. Don't want hot exhaust air mixing with cooling air. The exhaust end of the genset is curved in all directions, think beach ball, I was able to get closer by bending the aluminum at an angle but still there is lots of space to seal. Varies from 0 to about 3/8"
I need a gasket, keeping in mind the genset moves a bit when running, needs to be heat resistant and preferably flame resistant. Genset needs to be removable with little effort so nothing permanent. Any input greatly appreciated.
