i'm going to run a 8/8/8/10 cu generator feed to a garden shed where I keep my portable gen. in the same conduit I want to run a #12 circuit to bring power to the shed, primarily to keep the gen battery charged but also to run some power tools & lighting, etc.

1) I assume I can run the gen feed and the circuit in the same conduit?
2) can I use the #10 ground for both the generator feed and the circuit? The gen feed will terminate at the house main panel into an interlock. The other circuit will come from an adjacent subpanel.

anthing else I'm missing?

It is my understanding that you can't have multiple feeds to/from an outbuilding like that, so you would need a sub panel to run your generator feed and 20a outlet from.

its a 7500w generator. it has a 30A outlet. I may upgrade to a bigger one with 50A outlet if it can't run my well pump and furnace at same time.

i did think about the multiple feed issue, but I otherwise run an extension cord from the shed to the house to connect the generator. this is pretty much the same thing but better and safer.
