Have to sell; moving. Trying to figure out how many Watts is this generator in my garage and how much to ask for it? I fire it up every month to make sure it's working. Bought it after Hurricane Jean in 2008. Never had to use it since. I also had a man service it about a year ago (unfortunately he's since passed, bless his soul, so I have no one to ask for advice). Please help. See pictures attached. . .live in the Tampa Bay area if anyone is interested?

I don't think there is a very big demand for used generators. And that thing was never anywhere near $1700.00 when it was new.

Look on Craigs List and online for discounted generators the size of yours. That's who you're competing with... so price accordingly to sell.

2.5kw running, 2.9-3kw surge. Decently made generator but it probably sold for $700-750 new, nowhere near $1700 despite the IR name.

I think you'd be lucky to get $150 for it, I'd hold on to it as it is well made with the Honda engine and NSM generator head.

It's a 3000W model, and they haven't sold them since maybe 2007? I think.

It's worth a couple hundred bucks to the right guy. Maybe $600 new.

That HomoDepot sticker on it is the Lolz.

You know what, you're right. I would never pay $1,700 for it. It did it's job after Hurricane Jean and now it will go to another good home. I thank all of you for your input.
