Generator is acting up van anyone help?

Hello I have a Duro Max 10000 its 2 years old and runs like new. The problem is after its started and running a few mins it puts out no power. At first it reads 220 volts on the meter but in a few min it is back to not putting out power. I need help with this problem bad.

Sounds like the voltage regulator is failing when it gets hot.

Also, DuroMax says this: "All DuroMax Generators all carry a 3 Year Residential Factory Warranty". If it's only two years old, you're still in the warranty period. I would try giving them a call first.

Hey thanks. Yea I called them they said only part warranty they cover is a 1 year warranty. But I'm still going to argue with them . I will try the voltage regulator though. And thanks again.

Check the brushes and slip-rings, they may be sticking.
