Generator to 100Amp Detached Garage From Main

I live in an older home with a transfer switch wired to the main panel. The switch has ten circuits. Eight circuits are currently used. Two circuits go to a detached building we don't need power two when lights go out. Those four circuits are 20amp each.

Here is my question. We have a detached garage with 100amp service via breaker in main panel that houses our well pump. We also need to power our electric fence for horse through that garage. Is there any way to use the current transfer switch to power the garage through the main panel using the two empty circuits and the two on the other building that wouldn't be used during an outage? Breaker five is the garage. We do have a main breaker not in the picture

So you want to provide generator power through the 100a feeder to the garage? Nope wont work. how would you switch between utility and generator power on the breaker in the main panel?

That's what I am not sure of. Would changing over to a whole panel transfer switch work? We would be a getting a generator that could handle the load. And we still wouldn't be using thingsike the dryer, oven, or heat pump. I can't imagine there isn't a solution to power our well pump, right?

If you want to power the house and garage at the same time then the answer is yes you will need a main transfer switch

Thank you. I guess my question deals with the type of switch. Right now, I have one with multiple circuits. Isn't there a type that hooks into the main on the panel? Something like the picture below? Is this something that is possible?

you may be thinking of an interlock. its not a transfer switch however... its just a piece of metal that prevents the generator breaker and main service breaker from being on at the same time.

I am not a pro so I am sure someone will correct me if I am wrong, I wanted to power my House and shop if I had an outage with the generator at the shop/Sub Panel, I was unanble to legally do this so what I did was hooked up a interlock to main breaker at the house and wired a inlet outside and power the house and shop from the main panel. I can pretty much run everything including my well.
