GenTran Switch and Multiwire Branch Circuits

I have a 6 circuit GenTran 20216 ,manual transfer switch I am connecting to a new load center.
The house has 2 Multiwire Branch Circuits. Both using a double pole breaker-one is 15A the other is 20A.
I will connect the 20A MWBC by using a tiebar on switch circuit C and D.

Question for GJ:
Do you see a problem connecting only one leg of the other MWBC to the transfer switch?

In other words, Gen will only run one side of that 15A MWBC.

yeah half the circuit wont work because the ungrounded conductor wont be live.

What is on this other half of the MWBC?

The other half is lighting for some lower floor rooms (all mostly unused during outages).
The total load of both halves of the MWBC ,as used now during outages, is less than 800 watts. I could probably get away pigtailing both halves to the Gen-But I won't.

When I upgraded the service, I found both of these MWBC on single pole breakers with no tie bars Fixed it in the new load center.
The 15A circ ref'ed above is low load-doubt we ever overloaded the neutral.

The 20A MWBC has the kitch small appliance,fridge,dishwasher and deck light on it. No trips in 30 yrs.

If it was installed before the 2008 NEC was adopted in your State it was perfectly OK.

Yessir, vintage 1967 with what looks like a redo of some tandem brkrs in the early 80's due to a room remodel. Tore into that and found splices behind wall and reverse polarity outlets -fixed now. Thks
